Boston’s AI scene has been steadily building, and right now, that momentum is impossible to ignore. As a team operating in this space, we’re excited to share that we’ve joined the Massachusetts AI Coalition to help make Boston a place where companies start, scale, and stay.
About the Massachusetts AI Coalition
At its core, the coalition exists to bring together the people shaping AI in Massachusetts — founders, students, investors, and the broader community — and help cement the state as a leader in the space. With world-class universities, pioneering healthcare institutions, and an incredibly concentrated innovation ecosystem, it's abundantly clear that Massachusetts is uniquely positioned not only to take part in, but to act as a driving force in this technological revolution.
Through the formation of nine distinct task forces, each with their own foundational goal, the coalition has ambitions of increasing the number of early-stage startups that start and stay in Massachusetts, helping growth-stage companies scale and create more jobs across the state, and encouraging existing companies to open significant offices here and build a presence.
Even in its early days, the coalition has drawn strong support from growth stage companies, public companies, venture capital firms, and the state government — a testament to Massachusetts' collective readiness to become an AI powerhouse.
Why Remark is Getting Involved
We've been building in this ecosystem, and we believe in where it’s going. As Boston’s AI landscape continues to evolve, we’re excited to contribute to the community that’s helped shape us.
At Remark, we're focused on bringing the benefits of AI to the world of ecommerce, whether through on-site chat experiences, seamless customer support with Inbox Automation, or other practical applications that drive real outcomes for brands. Joining the Massachusetts AI Coalition presents an exciting opportunity to support and promote AI use cases beyond our own.
Massachusetts has always been a place where companies start, what’s happening now is the push to make it a place where they scale and stay. As a company building here, that matters to us, and being part of the coalition gives us a way to contribute to that effort alongside others who are equally invested in the future of AI here.
We’re excited to be part of what comes next.
